“Leaders are not born, but made by their experiences in life”
The Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council for the year 2022-2023, held on 16th May, 2022, was nothing short of spectacular. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Thomas Jose, Director, member of Board of Trustees.
The programme started with a beautiful prayer by the Choice choir. This was followed by the elected Council members being invested with their positions which included them receiving their badges and sashes and being administered their oath.
The Middle School prefects from 6th, 7th and 8th, were the first to be invested followed by the House Prefects, Vice-Captains and Captains, Environmental Secretaries, Literary Prefects, Literacy and Communication Prefects, Sports Captains, Cultural Secretaries, Assistant Head Boy and Head girl, and finally the Head boy and the Head Girl.
Mr. Ajith Jacob, Principal, addressed the gathering, and spoke at length about his hopes and expectations from the newly elected Student Council. The Head Boy and Heard Girl next delivered their acceptance speeches. This was followed by our Chief Guest, Mr. Thomas Jose, delivering a motivating message to all present in the audience, especially the new leaders.
The programme ended with the Investiture Song being sung by all Council members.
