The Choice Cup 2022 was hosted by The Choice School with the sole aim of offering our talented students a platform to showcase their sporting prowess and an opportunity to network with like- minded youth of other schools.
It was a 3 day tournament for the two most popular sports after cricket, namely football and badminton. Participation was overwhelming with 26 different schools registering themselves for the tournaments. The Choice School teams performed exceptionally well in both the sports.
Mr. K. A. Anson, a member of the Kerala police team and the Durand Cup Champions Cochin team member (1997), and a member of the Indian Team at the Nehru Cup International Football tournament held at Kochi in 1997, was our chief guest for the closing day ceremony.
He witnessed the final clash in the football tournament between The Choice School and Rajagiri Christu Jayanti with the former registering an emphatic win in a penalty shootout. He awarded the winners and runners up of both the football and the badminton tournaments at a grand prize distribution ceremony. Live streaming for all the matches was done with the help of the media platform, ‘Straight Out of India.’
